Terms of Service

Last updated: February 21, 2026

Welcome to Voidspark ("the Service"), an AI-powered role-playing game. By accessing or using Voidspark, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. AI-Generated Content

Voidspark uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) to generate game content including narrative text, character interactions, quest descriptions, and gameplay responses. This content is generated algorithmically and may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unexpected. AI-generated content does not represent the views or opinions of Voidspark or its developers.

We are not responsible for AI outputs. While we employ content filtering and safety measures, AI responses may occasionally produce content that is surprising, incorrect, or inappropriate. Use the Service with this understanding.

2. Age Restriction

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Voidspark. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will promptly delete their account and associated data.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to generate content related to self-harm, illegal activity, exploitation of minors, or other prohibited topics
  • Abuse, manipulate, or attempt to bypass the AI system's safety measures
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI prompts or system logic

Multiplayer Conduct

Voidspark supports cooperative multiplayer campaigns where your messages are visible to all players in your party. When participating in multiplayer, you additionally agree not to:

  • Harass, bully, or intimidate other players, including persistent unwanted contact, targeted insults, or hostile behavior
  • Send sexual, romantic, or sexually suggestive content directed at another player or their character without their consent
  • Use hate speech, slurs, or language that targets a person or group based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • Threaten another player with real-world violence or harm, whether explicit or implied
  • Doxx or share another player's personal information (real name, location, contact details, social media accounts) without their explicit consent
  • Impersonate another player, moderator, or developer
  • Spam or deliberately disrupt gameplay (flooding messages, intentionally sabotaging the party's progress, griefing)
  • Attempt to use in-game messages to solicit personal information from other players, particularly minors
  • Share invite codes publicly or with the intent of enabling abuse or disruption

Campaign hosts are responsible for the invite codes they generate and should only invite players they trust. Hosts and all players are encouraged to use the report feature (the flag icon on messages) to report conduct violations.

Violation of any conduct rules — including multiplayer misconduct — may result in immediate account termination without notice or refund. We reserve the right to remove players from campaigns, revoke invite codes, and take any other action we deem necessary to protect the safety of our users.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of any original text you input into the Service (your character names, messages, and decisions). AI-generated content (DM responses, quest text, narrative descriptions) is produced algorithmically and no party claims copyright ownership over it.

5. Credits and Payment

Voidspark uses a credit system to manage AI usage. Credits are consumed each time the AI generates a response. Credits are non-refundable. Credit allocation and pricing are managed by the Service administrators and may change at any time.

In multiplayer campaigns, the host (campaign creator) pays credits for all AI responses in that campaign.

6. No Warranty

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated content.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voidspark and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of enjoyment, or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court.

Class action waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

Small claims exception: Either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court.

Opt-out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to us within 30 days of creating your account.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Third-Party Disclaimer

Voidspark is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Wizards of the Coast, Hasbro, Dungeons & Dragons, or any other tabletop role-playing game publisher. Any resemblance to copyrighted game mechanics is for entertainment purposes within a transformative, AI-driven experience.

11. Content Filtering, Safety, and Reporting

We use Anthropic's built-in safety features and additional prompt-level guardrails to filter inappropriate AI-generated content. However, no filtering system is perfect. The Service is designed for fantasy adventure gameplay. Content involving real-world violence, self-harm, illegal activity, sexual content involving minors, or other prohibited topics is blocked at the AI prompt level.

In multiplayer campaigns, player-generated messages are not automatically filtered by the AI safety system. Players are responsible for the content of their own messages. We rely on our community to help keep Voidspark safe by reporting violations.

If you encounter content — whether AI-generated or from another player — that you believe is inappropriate, harmful, or violates these Terms, use the report button (flag icon) on the message. Reports are reviewed by our team and may result in content removal, warnings, or account termination depending on severity.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes not subject to arbitration shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
